ASQA can cancel or suspend registration for non-compliance with the 2025 Standards for RTOs; audits are evidence-based and the burden of proof sits with the RTO.

AVETMISS reporting uses standardised student and training activity data; errors can complicate reporting and, for some providers, funding arrangements.

AQF certification documentation is generally required within 30 calendar days of assessment completion when the relevant conditions are met.

Training package supersession creates transition-period obligations: RTOs must track which students sit under which version and when a transition is required.
